Wonderstruck: the love potion

Once, a simple damsel wears the exotic and enchanting perfume, she will then become a princess and enter into a world of utter beauty. Wonderstruck, by Taylor Swift, portrays how with this perfume one can transport into a fairy world. The advertisement takes place in the woods,  where Taylor finds herself running into a prince charming. He disappears and appears, while she runs among the trees. However, these trees aren't common plants, below them hang chandelier's. These crystal lamps guide the damsel to a glass house, there, she opens the door to the actual ball. The door leads her to a wonderful place, where this common girl will find her man. She is Wonderstruck. The message of this advertisement, although might be childish and indirect, as a viewer, I can say one does not pay attention to the message, rather than abnormal beauty of the actress. One is astonished by Taylor Swift in the big dress behind the perfect scenery, one craves to become like her. Personally, I do not fall for these superficial adds, however I can see most American girls becoming inspired by this commercial. This perfume is special through a consumer's eyes, it will leave one smelling like magic and attracting one's true love. In addition, with Taylor's final words: "Wonderstruck. The beginning of something magical," one is able to comprehend that this commercial intends to convince young girls something extraordinary will happen to them if they buy the perfume. The pethos method, although genius, proves how gullible the consumer mind can be.
